Rated - 4 starsThis film lives up to all the Hype! An excellent watch!

A customer from SW London , 12/04/2008

Couldn't wait to see this movie as the trailers and reviews were great. And I wasn't disappointed! The characters were well developed, the actors and their work superb, and the storyline kept you glued to the screen from start to finish. I'm not a gambler, (but I do love the odd trip or two to Vegas), but I can recommend this movie to anyone: whether you understand the gist of what 'counting cards' or not this movie is a must-see!

Rated - 4 starsDefinately worth a gamble

PaulaWestwood from Ashton-Under-Lyne [Highly rated reviewer] , 14/04/2008

The casino bosses don't like it when they get turned over, even when it is perfectly legal. When a gamble turns into a given and the odds are with the player due to the players genius its time to get heavy. This fact based story is all action all interest and superbly played out by all involved. Definately a winner winner chicken dinner film, a recommended watch.

Rated - 5 starsSurprisingly good

A customer from Wolverhampton , 25/06/2008

I don't play card games or go to casinos, wasn't expecting much from this film, I just watched it because I have an unlimited cineworld card. It is very good for what it is though, a good story & very good acting, especially by the casino owner. Worth watching even if you're not a gambler.
